Congratulations to all participants in the Adelaide 2010 MEGA pitch day for their involvement in the program which culminated in their highly polished pitches to the panel this Friday 9th July 2010. The event was well attended with all pitches on the day receiving quality feedback from the pitch panel, whose industry experience delivered relevant and insightful feedback.

Pitch panel prize

Winner - Rezon8 Vision, with their interactive display technology received the iPad donated by the Export Development Executive of the Technology Industry Association.
Runner up - NDA
Third runner up - Sandora

Graeme Kennelly best written proposal - $1000

Winner - Sandora

Peer assessed prize - $5000

Pitch panel

The pitch panel had wide industry representation and consisted of:

Jennifer Wilson – The Project factory
Carl Poplett – News Digital media
Brad Howarth – Journalist and author
Hugo LeMessurier – Business Angel

All panelists agreed that the 2010 MEGA pitch day was the best yet.

MEGA is for individuals and teams who would like to expand their creative, technical and business skills by creating new digital products and services for global markets.

MEGA is an Entrepreneurship Masterclass series which takes participants from the mobile, digital content and ICT industries through an industry-driven development program to build their creative, technical and business skills for the development of new products and services for global markets.

Participants form project teams and, guided by industry experts, develop and pitch new products and services to investors, buyers and business identities at a high profile Pitch Day in each state. (See the ever growing list of involved presenters and industry mentors)

MEGA introduces participants to a range of high profile industry presenters and mentors. Participants are also supported by a large MEGA support network of industry, education and government.

MEGA Alumni and their products/services MEGA is a fantastic way to take yourself and your ideas, meet a bunch of great new people, and form a team and a business or a winning business concept.

The Adelaide program is currently underway and we hope to commence programs in Sydney and Melbourne later in the year.

We would welcome expressions of interest from teams and/or individuals who are interested in creating new digital products and services for commercialisation, being mentored through the process by experts and being part of an exciting community of like-minded people.
